so, last week was like a rollercoaster. it's been fun, wacky,
fulfilling, relaxing...

to start it off.
had my first movie marathon (for the year) with Atiqah Azrina Huda and Fezra. Yanti couldn't make it, as usual. haha. anw, it was at Az's place. i'd told her we shd start at 9am sharp. the earlier the better. (:
however, i woke up late. then Fez and Huda were supposed to drop by my place first bcos i wanted to show them my dress. yep, for prom. hahaha. i wanted to know their opinions and furthermore Fez had to lend me her shawl. they liked my dress. hahaha. it's very very simple but sweet. white. altho Fez preferred my black dress. (i bought 2 dresses. the thing is, a little black dress is an asset to your wardrobe! really. u can match it with almost everything. practical and smart.)

anw, we left at abt 9.. and then we'd to stop by Macs to buy breakfast. apparently, someone was too lazy to buy their hotcakes (AZRINA). lol.
i didnt mind. i was partly at fault too for being late.
so i looked like a maniac, i had so many plastic bags to carry. hahaha.
the first movie we watched was FAILURE TO LAUNCH. they enjoyed it, i'd recommended the movie bcos i thought it was light-hearted and enjoyable. :D
the movie lasted about an hour and a half. (note that my hotcakes were still unfinished)
LOL. i couldn't concentrate on them while i'm watchg, it's not that i couldn't multitask ok.
so yeah. next, Azrina forced us to watch this horror flick, RED CANDY 2, CALL ON WAITING? i can't rmb.
it was way way out of my league. hahaha. all horror movies are terrifying for me. yep im a coward.
the sounds, the freaky surprises. and ohmigosh the haunting irritating ringtone that determines your death (once u received it la..)
ohgod. i don't know how i'd managed to sit through that...
actually, i didnt.
i had two toilet breaks in btwn. aha.
took a longer time for the second one bcos i'd a stomachache.
and when i stepped out of the toilet...

the rest actually gave me a fright as they'd been waiting outside the toilet without me knowing it. to scare me.. nothing better to do
and when i thought i cld escape the scary parts, Az actually paused the show till i get back.
omg evil.
after that traumatic experience,
it was THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. im the only fool who has yet to watch it.
actually Huda and Fezra watched it halfway. both left the cinemas halfway.
hahahaha haiyo.
then it was MUSIC AND LYRICS. i really loved the music video, POP GOES MY HEART.
the whole 80s' kind of feel. shiny pants, weird hairdos, boyband singing n dancing, cheesy lyrics, the shades. lol.
so cute :D

really enjoyed the session with them. Fezra suggested another marathon.
sure thing kiddo.

a date that I wld nvr forget. sweet and memorable. the preparation was otherwise.
hectic, rushed stressful!
hahaha. I'd gone to Kak Ati's house. sister and I planned to sleepover.
meanwhile back at the house, towards 3pm
Kak Ati was busy fixing my hair, yep I'd brought my entire Phillip hair kit.
I wanted to try making my hair slightly curly (the soft bouncy curls..)
it didnt work out so i sticked to the straight hairdo.
thanks to Kak Ati, my hair was looking good and kempt. for the time being.
I love her. she did not give up or at any one time, complained or groaned.
actually, she did.. but a bit only.
then she actually gave me money for my taxi fare. (it was slightly drizzling..)
she feared my hair wld be ruined. which was really thoughtful.. (:
the taxi driver actually asked me which route I'd prefer to take.
omg almost at every turn. urgh.
who's the taxi driver here now?
thabk god I'm street wise. heh. he was rather nice to try to make small talks with me..

anw, back home.
it was madness.
I had exactly 45 mins to make up!!! less than an hour.
u can imagine me going haywire.
what with tryg to put on mascara. (I had great difficulty doing just that. omg)

it was my first time applying mascara. I usually use eyeliner.
then received call frm Kak Ati, she wanted to see how i was doing.
I asked what eyeshadow color that matched well with my dress..
anw, dad fetched me. he waited soo long for me to get ready. (i was satisfied with everything at last.)
he was mad. but it didn't last. that's why I love him so so much. :D
had to fetch ATIQAH AZRINA HUDA frm the Tamp library.. we planned to go together u see.
the drive took about (couldnt remember...)
but it was not long before we reached the place. not much traffic jams! thank god.
the interior of the place sure fooled me. I wasn't too keen on having my once in a lifetime prom ALL GIRLS' night in a place called the Singapore swimming club.
but it wasnt too bad.
in fact, I loved the place. the chandeliers, the atmosphere, the stairs, the function room, the fountain. lovely.
it was quite...
close
to perfect.
so while we waited. it officially started at 700pm but we reached 615!
wooh we were early. :D

lol. I am proud to admit that i am.
BIG NEWS. Camelia wore this really sexy tube dress. *gasps
she looked fine. and so were the rest, Steph ching, Jacq, Cheryl and Su ann.
oh btw. I think Cheryl looked stunning in her brown dress.
we were supposed to wait for Fez by the entrance. she arrived close to 7.
and she wore this short sexy gold dress. it was nice, on her. she looked like a diva.
omg pls don't kembang if u read this Fezra. (if u evr do..)
I think all the TKGIANs present were no longer TKGIANs. we all have blossomed into these sophisticated young women, of the future. or gorgeous divas.
they all looked different, in a good way. must be the heavy make-up and shiny dresses.
anw, we were divided into 2 teams.
the event had already started. this Indian (?) guy was our emcee. he was quite funny.
Syazana Lim was our leader while Wan Ling, the ex headprefect was the otr team's leader.
oh speaking of which, Syazana looked like the goddess of Greece. she had this white little dress, with gold belt. and a tiara on her head. so cute.
we played games in between. whichever team with the highest score wins. the leader will walk away with a home entertainment set.
so we were all psyched.
the food was fab. the desserts were yummy.
actually i did not really taste the dessert much. was too caught up in the whole mingling plus snapping photos thing. heh heh.
I got to taste the brownie. it was heavenly.
oh man, I shd hv taken more.
and there was a lucky draw. amongst the prizes to be won:

famous amos cookie set
chocs

and guess what, I did not win anything! and so did Huda and Fezra and some more ppl...
me and Huda went off to the toilet. and probably our numbers were called when we were in there..
anw, it did not dampen my partying mood.
then there was the annual competition Ms TKGS 2007.
7 were nominated: Su ann, Lorraine, Shila, Azian, Shi hua (?), this tall chinese girl whom I cant rmb her name and Claire.
they had to show off their strut.
convince the audience why they shd be the winner or give any message. then, tell the audience a story in which they had to uphold one of TKGS's qualities
hahaha. finally, the Q&A.
it was hilarious watchg the different styles and personalities that all of them presented.
esp since there were 2 drama mamas up there. heh.
but the winner was no surprise.

SU ANN!!!!! HEH.
she cracked the audience with her funny stories.
she deserved it. she was wacky, honest.
her story was hilarious.

there was madness when the dj asked both teams to get on the dance floor. the fastest team will be awarded points.
so we ran helter-skelter, with heels
cool huh. but it was a trick. he knew no one wld want to dance unless.. he resorted to that.
hahaha.
so we danced the night away.
some songs a bit old. but otrs were bearable.
in the end, this chinese girl won a digi cam.
UNFAIR! lucky her.
I was hoping I cld get. everyone around my table thought I stood a chance too.
hahahahah who was I kidding.
it's luck.

the whole thing ended about 10+.
but the dj said we cld stay till 6am, in the morn!
thats nuts. but the dance floor will only be open till about 11.. bcos they had to stop playing the songs.
boo.
so me Azrina and Huda, actually mostly Azrina was dragging me to the floor to dance.
psycho. she was SO enthu. dancer what.
she has coool dance moves.
i think i look so cacat dancing. just wiggling my body to the beat. shaking here and there.
im so glad all were girls. im so gonna miss that.
went home at abt 11.. after taking photos by the fountain!
the scenery there left me breathless. i just had to snap a few there.

had loads of fun. dad fetched us home.
sent me to Kak Ati's place.
filled her in. talked to her like till morning..
shes really entertaining. a night creature she is (:
