I thought these pics were cute.

I had just returned from my very short trip to Malaysia.
stayed in Hyatt Regency hotel in JB for only one night!
left Sg yesterday morning, returned today.
this is because mom's not able to take any more leave.
it was destressing, i guess..
it's been a while since i swam. rejuvenating.
the weather's not too good these past few days. it's been pouring..
oh yes.
i think it was on Monday that something very unexpected, yet splendid
happened to us.
my mom promised to bring us to Swensens. either that, or Haagen daz.
however, she finished work rather late, around 8 plus..
there was only one Swensens outlet which is available 24/7
which was at Orchard. so we went there.
oh my. when we reached, it drizzled...
and to make matters worse, the queue was long.
but.
we waited, me and sis took shelter.
i'll spare u all the details.
the best part was the power trips which happened several times
when we were enjoying our meal.
or so i thought...
it was not complete darkness, (fortunately for us) because the location
was by the road..
the power trips were caused by the rainy weather.
and so...
we did not have to pay! nope, not even a single cent.
HOW COOL IS THAT!? seeing that this happened in Singapore
as the saying goes...
Nothing's free in this world (more for Singapore)
at first, i had asked my mom to take the menus and we would calculate manually.
LOL. foolish.
then, the manager walked to our table
and said it was on the house.
:D
we had ordered:
chocolate fondue
half-Bbq chicken
Kids meal
Roasted salmon
My dad regretted for not ordering more.
hahahaha.
we walked off, feeling good.
it was a cool night.
and it was all thanks to me,
because i bugged my mom to bring us there (she almost changed her mind!)
grr. i can't wait for episode 11 of Gossip girl!
I’m sure that you’ve heard the news by now: the writers and the studios are no longer talking after a brief glimmer of hope earlier in the month.
The producers had previously indicated that, without movement on the strike talks, only 13 episodes (instead of the planned 22) of Gossip Girl would air. The upcoming episode (#11) is just weeks away from the “finale.”
