hohoho. so it was X'mas yesterday.

dad brought us all to Hyatt JB to have breakfast.
all the way there.
it's his haven, i suppose.
he knew the manager and some otr hotel ppl there, so we get discounts..

he had to go back to work at noon so we crashed Kak Ati's place.
mom, me, sis, Elli, Kak Ati, Kak Ida and Abg Sham went out at abt 2+.
Abg Sham drove.
He has this weird habit of repeating the song, Love Supreme
by Robbie williams. says it gets him in the mood.
then the car has this surround sound system.
which amplifies the sound by 3x.
so the whole time, the car appears to be throbbing and pumping to the music
(from the outside anyway, i noticed)
first up was Abg Indra's place, wanted to send him the fd cooked by tante.

watched a bit of tv, drank, ate log cake, flipped through mags at his place.
everything about his place's just so cool.

be it the interior decoration to the kitchen to the tissue box!

after that, headed for TM.
apparently, Kak Ati had some problems with the watch she recently purchased
from Esprit.
went to Simpang Bedok for dinner.
teased Kak Ati abt the dish she ordered, Maggi Goreng Seafood
seriously.
turned out her fd was the best.
slow, annoying service, slip-ups in taking order, Mom's fd was not as delicious.
Abg Sham ended up sharing my Mee goreng
IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THAI-STYLE.
Abg Sham couldn't finish his kebab. why did he order in the first place
if he's not used to it. hahaahhaha.
but I don't mind.
He kept teasing me. always, every time he sees me.
He calls me Bookworm, bcos I always hv a book with me wherever I go.

such a big place, can get frustrating..
had difficulty finding certain things in the supermarket.
but still WOW.

had to send sis and Elli home first bcos

I cannot believe mom and Kak Ati labelled me as a kid and contemplated on sending me home as well.

gritted our teeth when we came aross these stores which sell exquisite bags
of all kinds at such a reasonable price and one store(next to it) selling nice shawls.
Mom was fuming bcos she searched like crazy for those kind of shawls.
and now she's broke so she couldn't afford to buy those at Orchard.
and they're much cheaper and exactly like what she's looking for.
crazy crazy sales in Mango.
we made a plan to start saving from now till X'mas next year.
bcos sales are crazy during X'mas and approaching-New-Year season.
all those branded stores, sales.
usually, I'd be so tempted to spend my money and by X'mas all's gone.

had lunch at BK, near Wheelock.
outsidem there was this gig.
this group of talented Malay ppl dressed hippie-like were beating their drums,
tamberine and some otr instruments I've never seen before.
Reggae, I think. nice tunes.
made u want to dance to the funky , loud beats.
ohhh there were ppl dancing. public interaction, I suppose.
I'd kill myself first.
There was Dalina (the Suria actress) with her crazy
bunch of frens dancing at the sidelines.
attention-seeking. Mom and I hate her.
attracted a whole mob of ppl.
there was also the By Definition drummer. he was playing this HUGE drums.
I like the music. very Jamaican.
so talented.
sis wanted to get out of the place, couldn't stand the loud music.
