ok, so the past few days had been fun & wacky.
today was the CCA fair. had a talk before that.
today's lectures were ok. bearable.
had Math lecture first, in LT 4. the biggest lecture theatre (:
teacher was depressing, as always. scaring us is her habit, i guess.
like what Chelsea said She lacks self-confidence bcos she thinks she's not getting enough respect frm us..
hahaha. and guess what. I actually enjoyed the Math lesson.
partial fractions & comparing coeffs quite fun. there's a trick to it.
breaks in btwn lessons were always long but unfortunately today, we had 1 period break = 50 mins or so..
no time to chill at the open space near bio lab (like we always do) to play cards.
lol.
so I've not been eating well, due to my extraction of 4 teeth (oh yes, it was on Mon)
my diet now consists of soft food like bread, milo...
gee. so I still can't try the Malay stall. then everyone in my CG thought I'm dieting.
hah right..
anw, back to today.
it was super fun & de-stressing.
Wida crashed! yeah mannnn!
then Atiqah, Wida, Yanti & I stuck together throughout the whole fair.
walked ard, finding out more abt various CCAs. I think MJ's clubs/societies damn cool.
they hv Service learning, ODAC, Guitar club, Photog club, Taekwondo loads...
basically, the PPL promoting service learning are all really nice!
there's my OGL, whom I really liked.
and then there're 2 new CCAs: FENCING & rock climbing.
I really really want to join fencing, it has been a dream of mine.
plus it's the closest I can get to holding a sword. HAHAHAHHA.
for the 1-mth, we don't hv to buy our own equipment yet. can rent/borrow.
however, if we do decide to stay on during JAE, we HAVE to buy our own costume/equipment which cost ard $800+..
I know. I got a shock when I heard bout the cost.
I tried out for Squash just now. just for pure fun.
Qah was like encourging me the whole way (: hahahah. so were the rest.
real supportive. they were cheering when it was my turn (according to Yanti & Wida)
not that I cld hear bcos I was in the enclosed room, the J2s were grading us.
but it was sweet of them still! appreciate it, u guys.
quite a lot of ppl tried out for it, had to wait quite a while.
before that, at 3, we watched the MCS dance.
it was cool. Az performed & she was so cute!
Qah & I signed up for ODAC & service learning. wanted Taekwondo but there was no sheet of ppr.
ODAC seemed really cool. though super tiring.
all kinds of sports outdoors. sort of OBS-like. but I like the idea of relishing the memories in OBS.
the J2 girl was explaining what it was all abt, we don't hv to be fit to enter the CCA. bcos it trains u to be disciplined & slowly builds up ur stamina.
ordered OG photo in at the photog club.
so we were like walking ard, laughing & catching up..
Wida still didnt get to see 'Hady'. actually, there was once we passed a grp of footballers (I think) but her reaction was too slow.
so missed again. But with Yanti ard, the probabilty of bumping into him again is like high. right right.
but I showed her the House captns poster.
and then there was commotion abt Az's DD guy.. he's in Wushu.
so, floorball & fencing trials are tmr.
will try out for both, i guess.
and I found out the OGL as quoted BY Ysabel ; who has nice legs is in fencing.
must tell her tmr. she was like super high during lecture just now bcos he was there.
hahaha.
I'm still undecided bout the CCA registration. I hv 5 choices.
I guess it'll be fencing, floorball, ODAC, service learning, squash, guitar (?), taekwondo..
I'll leave my choices open. oh btw, YANTI GOT INTO GUITAR CLUB. has an idol in there alr.

oh back to lecture proper.
I think The econs tutor is ok. pretty upbeat. she didnt really touch on much just now. but. what's with the accent?
rather vague. I'm coping with Chem well.
probably it's the teacher. she's funny.
so far, all the subjs are ok. I can't tell for now.
It's just the beginning. 3rd day of lesson.
tmr will be my first experience in a Lit lecture. I heard the class's quite small so it's held in a classroom.
so I guess there's not much a difference btwn the tutorials & lectures.
so few ppl doing Lit, how sad! it's so beautiful. hahahah.
I think guys who take Lit are really something.

tmr's Daryl's bday. so we plan to give him a surprise.
probably involves throwing of cake. haha.
we checked out our class room. it's in a freaking container.
oh god. but plus point is it's air-conditioned. quite comfy.
discussed abt the BBQ that we're gg to hv probably on the 19th/20th. with OGLs of cos.
there was some conflict regarding the date but after drawing lots everything's settled.
venue will be at Kai xin's condo.

anw, went home at ard 5+
waited for Natasha to finish packing up like super long. meanwhile, I accompanied Yanti to hand in the OGL form.
we were singing the Callisto cheer. damn addictive.
her first choice is of cos Miranda 2nd: TRITONS!
heh.
so while waiting, we laughed somemore. we talked abt the emcee who ends his every sentence with a WOOOH. the enthusiastic one.
very funny. laughed till my sides hurt.
I told u today was a de-stressing one. (:
it's been a while. and I miss Wida, am glad she crashed.
made it all the more exciting. next time, I promise u'll get to see ur 'Hady'
