what a start to the new year!
2 fulfilling, busy days packed with fun activities at MJ!

First day
awkward, lost, feeling weird in a totally new environment.
new group, separated frm friends, faces I've nvr met...
but the OGLs help lighten the tense atmosphere. can sense their enthusiasm.
they're all very lively and approachable.
I'm in Triton 5. Qah, Azrina, Abigail and Sharm are all in Miranda 2 .
and u must be wondering... HUH huh!?
MJ has 5 houses:
Atlas
Callisto
Miranda
Phobos
Triton

each house has 6 grps. hence, the number after every house.
so we were divided according to our course combination, that we'd recently registered for.
my group's dominated by chinese. only 2 Malays, me & this really quiet TKSS girl.
so after all the cheering and icebreaker games, we were more familiar with each otr.
we did take our own initiative to start the intro, like me. :D
only 4 guys. pathetic right.
we watched some videos, made by the all the captains of each house.
funny! lame.. hahahahha.
Phobos captain is a joker. and I really think he looks like Hady, esp when he smiles.
Phobos damn enthu. look at the captain la.
entertainer and can really work the crowd. ahahahha.
Azrina finds him cute btw.
oh! I'm so glad to find a Tkgian in the same grp as me, Chelsea (:
at least we've each otr. hahahha.
and Wei jia & Kuan yee is in Triton 6 , which is right behind us.
anw, we learnt Mass dance.
two OGLs aka dance teachers taught us the steps and demonstrated on stage. easy.
but I had difficulty remembering all. the order...
4 songs. now u know why I cannot become a dancer.
the video is on youtube. for ppl like me, slow learners.
even with one of the OGL's help, Dawn. (she guided me all the way man..)
I just suck at it. I shake shake to the music, had fun.
then there was Amazing race in the sch itself.
required running, obstacle courses, teamwork, more running, treasure hunt.
one of the games required us to drink smth FROM THE SAME STRAW.
the station master tricked us by saying it's smth very bitter and gewy. we were blindfolded!
but it was Coke! hahahahhaha. had to guess after that.
at the end of it, we had to dress up a representative with materials like paint, paper cups, cones etc..
It was Daryl, he's our warrior.
he went up on stage and sashayed to booming music. we were proud of him.
he shaked his tush also. which had two cones protruding.

screamed for otr Tritons.
almost all houses have guys dressed up as transsexual, sex toy, gay...
u know those kind of things. hahahahhah.
then the host had to censor certain things bcos we're under 18.
WHAT ONLY.
what a funny & entertaining sight! the whole event was a success.
had one hell of a time.
Phobos won a lot of the cheer competitions.
bcos they hv many guys. Tritons seriously lack guys!
at the end of the whole thing, it was Callisto and Phobos at first place,
leaving the Tritons at 2nd.

as if we were not tired enough, Tritons had to stay back for grp session/meeting.
House captain gave a ghasto/heartwarming/inspiring speech.
he apologised for all the squeezings we had to endure.
He believed in us blah blah.. apparently, Tritons had been house champion for 3 consecutive years.
hell yeah
had to learn cheers bcos we hesitated a lot when competing with otr grp cheers.
so left MJC at abt 6+.
just on time to watch Kinship .
