long weekends.
spent CNY with family and cousins.
went to Orchard with mom and sis ytd, for the Borders actually. bcos I need to get an organiser and some otr stuff.
no stocks! so took the shuttle bus frm Bedok to PP. had dinner at Banquet followed by shopping at Borders.
life in Sg is just so expensive! sister bought chicken cutlet and cheese fries for $9! sucked our money dry.
mom always says I'd only feel the pinch once I'm earning my own income.
ouch. so that's why must study like mad now, go uni and graduate with highest degree then get a job with 6-digit salary!
waaaah, easier said than done.
anw, totally off-track.
it's beeen a while since I've actually bought books. so I was more than happy when mom showed me all her discount coupons in Borders. and that I could make use of them all, me and my sister.
I bought two great books.
P.s I love you and The reckoning
I happened to chance upon the latter, I had read the first book, Bloodline and it is seriously a great book. so I was more than thrilled (and shocked) to find a sequel!
I thought it had ended off quite well. although the two main characters didn't get together bcos the guy had embraced his fate as a vampire. from a courageous and righteous soldier to a blood-sucking and callous leech. he evn tried to kill the love of his life!
omg, I revealed too much.
even with everything I've mentioned, the book takes u on an unexpected ride, full of twists that makes u experience lots of different emotions.
anw, I vowed to read P.s I love u before I watch the movie! it was recommended.
one day, i WANT to go all the Borders branches and check all the sections out. during weekends, there are too many ppl and I feel suffocated.
so yes, I enjoyed the quality time I spent with my loved ones. I hope all of u did too.
and I always get this tingly, fluttery feeling at the pit of my stomach every time I'm abt to read a new book. makes me feel all excited.
so sch's tmr. argh!
Yanti and I plan to crash Tj again, on Weds most prob.
which reminds me of the otr time we crashed. actually, I did. she left as soon as she reached.
so i did a lot of catching up with Grace. like talking abt sch, ccas, exploring Tj, bumping into friendly Tkgians and eating at PP.
it was fun. looking fwd to more of these outings! (:
we went home at night. lucky for me, her parents sent me home.
